Introduction
At Tabiya.org (“Tabiya”, “we”, or “us”), we are committed to protecting your personal data and privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from you, how we use and store it, and your rights regarding that information. We follow the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws to ensure your data is handled lawfully and transparently. By using Tabiya.org, you agree to the collection and use of information as outlined in this policy.
Information We Collect
We collect personal information to provide and improve our services. The types of data we may collect include:
- Personal Identifiers: Information such as your name and email address (for example, when you create an account, subscribe to a newsletter, or contact us).
- Usage Data: Details about how you use our website, e.g., pages visited, time spent on the site, clicks, and referring URLs. This may include your IP address, browser type, and device information.
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We may use cookies or similar technologies to enhance user experience and gather analytics about site traffic and usage patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Maintain Services: We use your personal identifiers to create and manage your account, respond to inquiries, and provide the features or services you request.
- Improvement and Analytics: Usage data and cookies help us understand how users interact with Tabiya, allowing us to improve our website, fix issues, and develop new features or content.
- Communications: We may use your email address to send you important updates, respond to support requests, or share information about features (only in accordance with your communication preferences). You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
- Legal Compliance and Protection: We may process personal data as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms of Use, or protect the rights and safety of Tabiya, our users, or others.
Our use of your data is based on legitimate interests in running and improving our service, fulfilling our contractual obligations to you (such as providing a service you signed up for), and, where required, your consent (for example, for optional cookies or marketing communications).
Data Storage and Security
Your personal data is stored on secure servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes using encryption (e.g., HTTPS/TLS) to protect data transmitted between your device and our servers. While we strive to protect your data, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We continuously review and improve our security practices to keep your data safe.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy or as required by law:
- Account information (such as your name and email) is kept for as long as you maintain an account with us or as needed to provide you services. If you choose to delete your account or request deletion, we will remove or anonymize this information, except for data we are required to keep for legal or administrative purposes.
- Usage data and analytics records are generally retained for a limited period to allow us to analyze and improve our services. These may be kept in an aggregated or anonymized form where they no longer identify you personally.
- We periodically review the data we hold. When personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected, and we are not legally required to retain it, we will delete or anonymize it in a secure manner.
Your Rights
You have rights regarding your personal data under GDPR and other applicable laws. These rights include:
- Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: You have the right to ask for your personal information to be corrected or updated if it’s inaccurate or incomplete.
- Deletion: You can request that we delete your personal data if it is no longer needed for the purposes it was collected, or if you withdraw consent (where applicable) or object to further processing.
- Objection and Restriction: You may object to or request that we restrict the processing of your data under certain circumstances (for example, you can object to processing for direct marketing or request we limit processing if you contest the accuracy of your data).
- Data Portability: Where we process data based on your consent or a contract with you, you have the right to request a portable copy of the data you provided to us in a commonly used format.
- Withdraw Consent: If we rely on your consent to process any personal data, you can withdraw that consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the contact details provided below. We will respond to legitimate requests within the timeframe required by law. Please note that we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
Third-Party Services
In general, we do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing or unrelated purposes. However, we use certain third-party service providers who process data on our behalf as part of running Tabiya.org (for example, website hosting or analytics services). These providers are bound by contractual agreements to process personal data only for our purposes and to protect it in accordance with data protection laws. We ensure any third-party we use has robust privacy and security practices.
International Data Transfers
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or other regions with data protection laws, your information may be transferred to and stored on servers outside of your country of residence, including jurisdictions that may not have the same data protection laws. In such cases, we will take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) are in place to protect your personal data.

If you have any questions, concerns, or requests about this Privacy Policy or your personal data, please contact us at [email protected]. We will be happy to assist you. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority or the relevant supervisory authority if you believe your privacy rights have been violated.

By using our website, you agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy will be subject to the above-mentioned jurisdiction. We will also comply with any mandatory provisions of law that apply in your country of residence for the protection of your personal data.
